Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information OONSITE ("we", "us") collects when you visit oonsite.com, why we collect it, and your choices. If you have questions, email o@oonsite.com.

Information you give us

When you request a free assessment we collect the details you type: name, email, industry, stage, country, website link and your message. We use them only to reply to you and prepare your assessment. We keep inquiries for up to 24 months, then delete them, unless you become a client.

Information collected automatically

• Approximate location and visits. When you open a page, our server looks up the approximate city, region and country linked to your IP address so we can show local weather at the top of the page. We record that location together with your IP address, the page you opened, the page that sent you, your device time zone and browser type in a private visitor log. We use it to understand where our visitors come from and to follow up on requests you send us. We keep the log for up to 12 months. IP location is approximate and never your street address.
• Spam protection. To stop automated abuse of the form, our server keeps a one way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) to keep the site secure and working.
• Analytics, only with your permission. If you click Accept on the cookie banner we may use analytics to understand how visitors use the site. If you decline, analytics does not load.

Cookies and similar storage

• Necessary: your cookie choice is saved in your browser's local storage so we do not ask again.
• Analytics (optional): loaded only after you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your information.

Who receives information

• Our website hosting provider, which stores the site and processes form submissions.
• Our email provider, which delivers your request to our inbox.
• An IP location service (ipapi.co, or DB IP as a backup), which receives your IP address to return an approximate city.
• The Norwegian Meteorological Institute (MET Norway), which receives only approximate city coordinates to return a temperature, never your personal details. Weather data from MET Norway is used under the CC BY 4.0 license.
• An analytics provider, only if you accept analytics cookies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, to object to or limit how we use it, and to withdraw consent. Email o@oonsite.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also contact your local data protection authority.

Security

The site uses HTTPS encryption. Form details are sent securely and access to our inbox is limited to our team.

Children

Our services are for businesses and organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
